Iberdrola Renovables adds 2 GW in capacity over last year

Installed capacity outside of Spain now accounts for 50.3% of Iberdrola’s total, with the company operating in 23 countries.

Some 60% of the new capacity – or 1,440 MW was installed in the US, where Iberdrola’s capacity reached 3,459 MW, a 50% increase on a year previously, due to what Iberdrola describes as “the favourable regulatory environment that is developing (there).”
