Horizon says it has so farm managed to close 385MW of PPAs in 2010. EDPR has reduced the amount of wind farm capacity it plans to install in the US because of difficulties in signing PPAs with utilities, many of whom are under no pressure to reach agreements due to a lack of a federal renewable energy standard and low natural gas prices.
