Details of the agreements will be announced during the Vibrant Gujarat Global Investors Summit beginning 12 January as companies line up to “gain a foothold in Gujarat,” according to Energy and Petrochemicals Minister Saurabh Patel.
Companies reportedly interested in committing to deals include Suzlon, Enercon India, Solitaire Energies, Next Gen Syndicate, Moser Baer Energy, Caritas International and Abellon Bio-Energy. The projects will be developed over the next decade.
