The ministers converged on Brussels to discuss plans for the EU’s Energy Action Plan for 2013 to 2020, ahead of March’s full European Council meeting.
As part of the Council of Ministers, the EU’s chief legislative body, the energy ministers say they welcome most of the conclusions drawn up in the Second Strategic Energy Review, first proposed by the European Commission (EC) in November 2008.
