Of the extra 1,900MW, 1,600MW will come from wind power. The plan foresees a 32% increase in output, from the current 17.2 terrawatt hours (TWh) to 22.7TWh. Of this increase, around 80% will come from wind power, which will rise from 12% to 28% of total output by 2013. This will give EGP a mix of 44% hydropower, 28% wind and 26% geothermal.
