EDPR – the world's third-largest wind operator – signed agreements with the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) and IFC, a member of the World Bank Group, to finance the construction and operation of the Cernavoda I & II facilities.
The EBRD and IFC are lending €57.4m each to Cernavoda Power, majority-owned by EDPR – the first investments and project financing by the two agencies of the renewables sector in Romania.
