The Suvorovo wind farm is located 25km inland from the Black Sea in north-eastern Bulgaria. It is being developed by Eolica Bulgaria, which is owned by Spain’s Enhol Group. The project involves developing and operating the wind farm, building a substation and a new interconnection line to Bulgaria’s national power network.
Total investment in the project will be €108m, with the rest of the financing coming from an €22m loan from the Black Sea Trade and Development Bank and Enhol Group’s equity investment.
