DONG Energy previously acquired Vattenfall’s 49% holding in Borkum Riffgrund 1 Holding, which owns 50% of Borkum Riffgrund 1.
The total purchase amount for the transactions consists of an up-front payment of about DKr100m with additional payments subject to the wind farms being built.
These additional payments have a capitalized value of about DKr150m. DONG will also as part of the transactions redeem loans of approximately DKr70m to the sellers.
