The report says the projection is based on its “advanced industry development scenario.” Even with a set of more moderate parameters, CSP should be supplying 3.0 to 3.6% of global demand in 2030 and 8.5 to 11.8% in 2050, the report says.
“In the last five years, the industry has expanded rapidly from a newly-introduced technology to become a mass produced and mainstream energy generation solution,” says the report.
