The second phase will have 200 MW of capacity from 133 GE SLE 1.5 MW turbines. The expansion at a 17,000 acre site 90 miles northwest of Indianapolis will be completed in the first quarter of 2010, BP said.
The power from phase two of the project will be sold under four long term contracts for 50 MW each to units of American Electric Power and one contract with Vectren Energy Delivery of Indiana.
