The decision followed a series of public hearings that led the ERC to downgrade FIT levels recommended by the National Renewable Energy Board (NREB) in March 2011, largely because of falling construction costs.
PV will attract a FIT of 9.68 pesos ($0.23) per kWh, almost half the NREB recommendation of 17.95 pesos. Wind generators will receive 8.53 pesos per kWh, slightly lower than the 10.37
