Queensland-based steel processor and fabricator RPG ceased operations at three of its four sites last Friday while an attempt is made to sell its business and assets, says administrator Ferrier Hodgson.
The website of RPG names Suzlon, Vestas and Enercon among the turbine-makers to which it has supplied towers for deployment at Australian wind farms.
The company claimed to be Australia's largest producer of wind towers, and was also active in the PV and wave-energy markets.
