The contract includes the supply and commissioning of the turbines, and a 7-year service and maintenance agreement. Delivery of the turbines will start during the fourth quarter of 2010, and the project will be completed during the second quarter of 2011.
The order has been placed by Tuppadahalli Energy India Pvt Ltd, which is a Special Purpose Vehicle (SPV) created by Acciona Energy India for the project.
