Acciona’s net profit rose 53% to €56m ($79.3m) in the first quarter of the year.
Earnings before interest, tax, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) were up 12.3% to €308m compared to the same period in 2010.
Revenues from Acciona Energy rose by 6.1% to €427m and contributed 84% of the group’s EBITDA.
By contrast, income from Acciona’s Infrastructure division fell by 7.6% and total group revenues were down 4.7%
