The government last year introduced a monthly degression to initial FIT payments that gets steeper if more PV capacity is installed than the 2.5GW to 3GW a year foreseen by Berlin.
Currently, some 300MW to 350MW of new capacity is added across Germany each month, bringing new installations from January through June 2013 to 1.8GW,
