The companies include Taiwan Generations Corporation, whichplans to install 30 turbines with 108MW of capacity 11km off the coast of Changhuacounty at Fuhai.
Formosa Wind Power will also build a 108MW project, 5km offthe coast of Miaoli county, while state-owned utility Taiwan Power will build a108MW-150MW wind farm.
Eachof the developers will receive 50% of the capital for two pilot turbines, and upto 250m Taiwan dollars ($8.4m)
