The turbine was finished when its blades were attached at Energy Park Fife (EPF), where it is due to start operations later this year ahead of a comprehensive test programme in shallow waters.
The giant machine’s blade-tips reach 196 metres above sea level and it has a nacelle height of 110 metres.
