"As far as the supply contract [for Nordsee 1] is concerned, my colleagues here are diligently at work together with the negotiation team of RWE," Senvion chief executive Andreas Nauen told Recharge in an interview during the WindEnergy Hamburg event.
"I'm quite confident. And there also is optimism on the part of our clients."
RWE Innogy had originally pre-selected Senvion (formerly REpower) for the Nordsee 1 contract, but decided to re-tender the project after a technical hitch relating to bearings was found in a handful of Senvion's flagship 6.2MW
