The site – adjacent to Dong’s 172MW Gunfleet Sands wind farm offeastern England – is being inaugurated by UK climate change minister Greg Barker.
Gunfleet Sands is home to two of the new Siemens 6MWmachines, which will be put through their paces over the next three years.
