The company tells Recharge an"alternative solution" has been found to the original installationvessel, Swire Blue Ocean’sPacific Osprey, which should mean the turbine is in place near the 165MWBelwind 1 wind farm by early October.
"We have identified a new vessel butit is too early to communicate the name," says an Alstom spokesman."We should be able to start again installation operations within thecoming weeks, providing the weather conditions allow us to do so."
The operationwill mark the latest effort to place the Haliade at Belwind.
