Transmission system operators (TSO’s) toward mid-October are slated to announce the level of the EEG surcharge for next year, with most observers expecting a hefty increase from its 2016 level of €0.0635 per kilowatt hour. The BEE thinks the levy might rise to €0.067-0.069/kWh.
