Deme unit GeoSea completes acquisition of offshore installer A2SEA

GeoSea, a unit of Belgian marine engineering group Deme, has completed the acquisition from Dong Energy and Siemens of Danish offshore wind installer A2SEA, after obtaining all necessary regulatory approvals.

“GeoSea is a well-known and highly respected contractor within offshore wind,” A2SEA chief executive Michael Glavind says.

“To both companies, safety is of paramount importance, and furthermore, we take pride in delivering projects to the full satisfaction of our customers.”
