The International Renewable Energy Agency (Irena) and co-founding partner Siemens Energy have teamed up with 13 companies across several industry sectors to launch the global ‘Alliance for Industry Decarbonisation’ to speed up net-zero goals in sync with the Paris climate agreement.
The alliance to decarbonise industrial value chains was launched this week in Bali, Indonesia, and will have its first meeting at the COP27 summit in Sharm El Sheikh in Egypt in November.
