The Siemens 2.5MW machine is generating electricity in Rudong county, Jiangsu province.
The unit of state-owned engineering and construction giant Sinohydro has already completed the 100MW project’s initial 20MW phase, which consists of 2MW turbines supplied by an undisclosed manufacturer.
