Her “research” into the issue began in 2006 with the placement of newspaper adverts asking people who blamed their health problems on wind turbines to contact her. After speaking to ten families over the phone and hearing a list of ailments ranging from heart disease to tinnitus, vertigo, panic attacks, migraines and sleep deprivation, she concluded that their symptoms were caused by the inaudible infrasound (frequencies lower than 20Hz) given off by the turbines.
