London: Norway's Statkraft has opened its first wind farm in Sweden. The 9.2MW Em facility is the first step in a partnership between Statkraft and timber-product company Södra that involves development of 600MW of projects in southern Sweden. Installation of the four turbines outside Mönsterås in southeast Sweden started last June, along with the building of a Södra wind farm at Mönsterås Bruk.
