The chairman of Suzlon has come straight from hosting a visit by Greg Barker. The British Climate Change Minister is keen to step up co-operation with the company — which owns German turbine manufacturer REpower — in the UK’s growing offshore market.
Suzlon has just completed its “squeeze-out” of REpower, and is preparing to fully integrate the company early next year.
