FORT WORTH: SustainX has received $14.4m from GE Energy Financial Services (GE EFS) and several other investors to continue developing its technology for energy storage using compressed air.. The other new investor is Cadent Energy Partners, which was joined by existing backers Polaris Ventures and Rockport Capital.
SustainX is working with AES Energy Storage to demonstrate a full-size system, capable of storing enough energy to power 1,000 homes.
