Solar Millennium licenses out its parabolic-trough design
German concentrating solar power (CSP) specialist Solar Millennium has chalked up orders for the use of its parabolic-trough collector design, known as Skal-ET, at two 50MW projects in southern Spain, solidifying its leading position in the sector. The first project, Astexol 2, is being constructed by Spanish contractor Elecnor in the province of Extremadura.
