FORT WORTH: M idwest Wind Energy has joined Invenergy in suspending alldevelopment in Wisconsin, saying it no longer makes sense to invest meaningful capital in the state given continued regulatory uncertainty there. Invenergy, which like Midwest is based in Chicago, cancelled a 100MW project in Wisconsin several weeks ago for the same reason.
"Most states are clearly open for renewable-energy development, and the economic development dollars and jobs that come with it," Midwest president Stefan Noe says.
