London: Rwanda aims to develop 310MW of geothermal capacity at a cost of $935m over the next seven years. Geothermal sources have been identified in the country's north and west, between Karisimbi volcano and the town of Bugarama, the government says. It will cost an estimated $30.2m to drill three exploration wells and prepare the sites.
