Benjamin Romano Seattle Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV) has picked RES Americas to build the 30MW Webberville solar project in Texas.. Construction has begun on utility-owned land east of Austin, with the project targeted for completion this year.
Trina Solar is supplying 270-watt PV modules, which will be installed on single-axis trackers. Trina says the supply deal is for about 35MW of panels, and deliveries will begin this quarter.
