The biggest loser is the Czech Republic, which disappeared from the list due to Prague's decision to scrap solar subsidies in order to lower consumer electricity bills.
Report: China still top market for renewables
China has consolidated its position as "the clear leader" among global renewables markets, widening its lead over the US on the strength of its booming wind industry, according to Ernst & Young (E&Y). The US, Germany, India and the UK round out the top-five list in E&Y's quarterly ranking of the most attractive countries for renewables investment.
