Australia saw a 480% increase in solar PV installations in 2010, on the back of plunging module prices, the sky-rocketing Australian dollar and generous government incentives - with anticipation of their demise buttressing the market.
Some 383MW of PV was installed last year, according to the Australian PV Association's (APVA's) annual survey, taking total installed capacity at the end of last year to 571MW.
