The partners behind the proposed Nevada factory are talking with all levels of government about compiling a list of areas where the project could be eligible for financial assistance and tax incentives. State officials tell Recharge they have not received a request for either.
In March 2010, the joint venture issued a press release stating that A-Power would underwrite the costs of site acquisition, and the construction and operation of the facility, from its own funds.
