Peruvian plant wins $250m from IFC
The International Finance Corporation (IFC), a member of the World Bank Group, will provide long-term financing of up to $250m for the 168MW Cheves hydro plant being built in Peru by SN Power. SN Power, which operates eight hydro plants in Peru with a capacity of 273MW, won the right to build the $400m dam in October 2009.
