Backers of a proposed Texas wind farm and the Nevada turbine plant that would supply it say both projects are a good deal for their states and the US.. But efforts by Recharge to clarify lingering questions about the projects were met with silence from clean-energy investment firm US Renewable Energy Group (US-REG), Cielo Wind Power and the office of the US Senate majority leader Harry Reid, who claimed credit for bringing the turbine plant to his native state.
