Rio de Janeiro: Brazil will leave its planned wind measurement and distance rule changes in place for the upcoming energy tender, Recharge has learned. Developers had protested against the government's plan to extend the wind-measurement periods required for project applications and to cut the distance from planned wind farm sites at which they can be taken.
The government had considered temporarily revoking the new rules, but it has now decided to stick with them.
