Neo Solar to double cell shipments

Neo Solar Power, Taiwan's third-largest PV cell maker, says it will double its shipments and capital expenditure next year, as the expansion race among Asian solar companies intensifies. Hsinchu-based Neo Solar expects its shipments to grow to 1GW in 2011, up from an estimated 500MW this year, according to chairman Quincy Lin.
