London: The Crown Estate has given a push to Northern Ireland's renewables sector by asking developers to identify the best sites for offshore wind and tidal projects, with an eye to allocating zones as early as next year. From 1 April, the Crown Estate, which owns the UK seabed, will begin discussions with prospective developers on how they would prefer to see the zones allocated.
