Mujica looks to score investment goal in Madrid
Uruguay's President José Mujica met with Florentino Pérez of energy group ACS in Spain last week in an effort to attract capital to the South American country's energy industry. Ernesto Kreimerman, Uruguay's Minister of Industry, Energy and Mining, and Gonzalo Casaravilla, the president of national electricity company UTE, also met Pérez, who told the Spanish press that discussions over development of wind, hydropower and biodiesel are under way.
