The company, which is owned by Copenhagen-listed groups Højgaard Holding and Monberg & Thorsen, will have installed 630 foundations at offshore wind farms when it is finished at Anholt - more than any other contractor.
MT Højgaard wins Anholt foundations contract
Dong Energy has awarded Danish construction and engineering firm MT Højgaard a DKr1.3bn ($230m) contract to manufacture, transport and install 111 monopile foundations at its Anholt offshore wind farm.. The 400MW project, under development near the Danish island of Anholt in the Kattegat sea, is slated to be one of the fastest-built offshore wind farms in the world.
