INDIA: Moser Baer, the country's second-largest maker of PV cells, has halted cell production. The company says the stoppage is aimed at improving its plants' efficiencies, and insists it is only temporary.
The move comes after the state of Andhra Pradesh cancelled its memorandum of understanding with Moser Baer that called for the company to invest $500m in a PV factory.
