BRISTOL: UKtechnology developer Marine Current Turbines (MCT) is gearing up to install one of Scotland's first tidal-energy projects, after securing a lease agreement from the Crown Estate for a four-turbine array. The development in Kyle Rhea, a strait between the Isle of Skye and the Scottish mainland, is expected to have a maximum power of 8MW and generate electricity for up to 8,000 homes in the Highlands and Islands.
