Kyocera Solar has completed the largest PV system on a US Marine Corps base. The 1.4MW system at Camp Pendleton, California, is composed of 6,300 KD235 modules produced locally by Kyocera. The Naval Facilities Engineering Command Southwest helped install the project.
The 225-panel system on the site of the Box Canyon landfill also ranks among the largest solar installations in San Diego County.
