Karl-Erik Stromsta London China's Longyuan has selected Gamesa to become its international development partner, giving it unfettered access to the Spanish group's wind turbines and 22.6GW global project pipeline as it kicks its international expansion campaign into high gear. The agreement, described by a Gamesa spokeswoman as "very, very important" for the company's strategic future, calls for the two groups to jointly find suitable sites for future Longyuan wind farms across the US, Europe and Latin America, as well as other emerging markets.
