Oliver Wagg Brisbane. LDK Solar has cut sales and production forecasts for the first quarter of the year.. The Chinese manufacturer of multicrystalline wafers and PV products says it expects first-quarter revenues of $745m-755m, against its previous estimate of $800m-850m.
It also trims its forecast for wafer shipments to 625-635MW, compared with a previous estimate of 610-660MW. Module shipments are expected to fall short at 109-114MW, down from 120-140MW.
