Kirchner tightens grip and squeezes life out of wind
The WindAR 2011 event may have been held in Buenos Aires, but the buzz was all about Uruguay. Argentina’s tiny neighbour will have held three tenders this year and expects to have 1GW of wind power in operation by 2015. That would amount to 30% of Uruguay’s installed capacity.
