How will the WTO ruling affect Ontario’s renewable-energy industry and its ability to attract foreign investment? I think the argument is that it will help, as it will push prices down if, in fact, it creates tougher competition with our domestic manufacturers. There will now be significant incentive for foreign manufacturers to get involved here. You’ll have less expensive international products — solar and wind hardware — coming in.
