Managing director Miles George says Victoria is now “off limits”, due to its policy regime.
“We only have one development project in Victoria, which certainly under the new rules we would still be able to progress.
“We have always taken the view that regulatory risk is higher in Victoria than elsewhere. In NSW, the proposed new guidelines are in some ways better, as there is a ‘gateway process’ for residents who live within 2km of a turbine, rather than an absolute veto,” George says.
